Donna Urlaub is one of the most recognized names in the court reporting field. A Certified Shorthand Reporter since 1969, she is known as one of the fastest and most accurate court reporters in the country. She has won the Illinois competition for court reporting speed and accuracy seven times and has qualified in the National Court Reporters Association Speed Contest numerous times, earning gold medals in individual legs and an overall bronze three times. In September 2008 she took first place in the Great Lakes Realtime competition. In 2009 she achieved a personal best and a first in the history of the contest - winning both the speed AND realtime contests in Illinois.

Donna is a Registered Professional Reporter, Registered Merit Reporter, Certified Realtime Reporter, and member of ILCRA (Illinois Court Reporters Association), NCRA (National Court Reporters Association), and STAR (Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting). She also serves on the CSR (Certified Shorthand Reporters) Board of the Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation. She has over 40 years' experience in a wide range of litigation areas, with special expertise in medical and technical testimony.

Donna's passion for personal and professional excellence is evident in the way she conducts herself and her company. Nick Bowen has been a Certified Shorthand Reporter since 1974, is a Registered Professional Reporter, Registered Merit Reporter, and Registered Diplomate Reporter. Like Donna, who has been his business partner since 1985, he is driven to excel and succeed. He also has competed and qualified in the Illinois Court Reporters speed contest.

With 35 years of court reporting experience in a wide range of litigation areas, Nick has been instrumental in designing and developing processes that have made Urlaub Bowen such an outstanding service-oriented agency. Nick understands how important customer satisfaction is for both personal and professional excellence, and he has helped center the company around its customers. His dynamic work ethic has created an effective, efficient court reporting agency that is greatly respected both in Illinois and throughout the nation.
